SUMMARY
Mukherjee Dar Bou, a Bengali film, is
a romantic drama. Based on the story of a Bengali family, it deals with the relationship
between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law. The film stars Anushuya
Majumdar, Koneenica Banerjee as Aditi and Rituparna Sengupta,
in the lead roles. The music of this movie has been composed by Indraadip
Dasgupta.
ANALYSIS:
The movie is extremely entertaining. Although it is based on a common plot, still it is well
written and portrayed. Kudos to the directors that they could make the common
mother-in-law and daughter-in-law storey
so realistic and relatable.
The movie is
an eye-opener and shows how proper counselling can change a relation into
a happy and strong one. Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law storylines are quite common but this is
different in that it also tells a story of a mother, who sacrificed her life to
make her family happy. That is a lot to learn in today's world where most people
put self over others.
All the actors and actresses
acted very well, which made the movie so real. And also the movie is well
narrated. An outstanding performance by Rituparna Sengupta who acted the
crucial role of a counsellor in this movie. Casting is superb.
REVIEW:
It is a family movie, and the
story can be easily related to any Bengali family. It teaches us many things,
most importantly to remain happy in our family. It is very beautiful and I would
encourage everyone to watch this movie.
I would give it a score of 4 out of 5 based on my opinion.
